What is League Auction?
League Auction is online software for running a live player auction for your local league in any team sport — cricket, badminton, pickleball, football, kabaddi and more — from player registration to the live auction on a projector to sharing the final squads.
Which sports does it support?
Any team sport. Cricket uses batsman, bowler, all-rounder and wicket-keeper roles. For badminton, pickleball, football, kabaddi, volleyball or any other sport you define your own categories — positions, skill levels, doubles or mixed, age groups like 40+ — each with a minimum and maximum per team.
Do players, owners or the audience need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in the browser on any phone, laptop, TV or projector. Players register from a link, owners sign in with their phone number, and fans follow a public page.
Can we set our own base price, bid increments and maximum bid?
Yes. Each tournament has its own bid ladder: a base price, the raise step for each price band and a maximum bid, with a live preview while you edit.
Can we show the auction on a big screen and stream it on YouTube?
Big screen — yes: the auction stage has a full-screen mode designed for projectors and TVs. YouTube live — not as of now: League Auction does not provide YouTube live streaming or streaming support at the moment. Fans can still follow every bid live on your tournament’s public page.
How do team purses work?
Each team bids from its wallet. A separate reserve is held back and released a little after every purchase, so teams can always afford to complete their squad.
